The Center of Applied Technologies and Nuclear Development (CEADEN) and the Cuban Physical Society (SCF) are very pleased inviting you to participate in the VII International Workshop Tecnolaser, “TECNOLASER 2012”, and III International Meeting Optics, Life & Heritage will be held in Historic Casco, Havana, Cuba, the week of 10-13 April 2012, under the general lemma “Optics and Laser Technology in Science, Industry and Culture”. The event will consist of two sessions and an international holoImage exhibit.

Objectives

· The promotion of the scientific discussion, investigation and applications works of great international interest about optics and laser.
· To develop the cooperation relationship among the participants.
· To debate on methods and technologies of investigations and applications of the laser and the optics in different branches of the industry and the medicine, the conservation and restoration of the heritage, the archaeology and museology and the analysis of the environment.
· To promote the direct linking among the institutions related to research, development, production, explotation and trading equipment that use the laser technique and the optics.
· To promote scientific-technicians exchanges for the discussion of the most recent results of kindred groups and the agreement of combined projects of development.
· To contribute to the introduction of the technological applications of the laser and the optics in industry, medicine, culture and environmental studies.
